"the" tooth and "what drought?"

Caleb at 11am showing off how loose his tooth is.
He really didn't want it pulled!

By 2pm the boys were in the middle of their daily WWF (probably round 3). Jared knocked Caleb in the mouth...I have no clue how the tooth was still in his mouth. I really didn't need to pull it out but it needed a touch to actually come out.
What a big boy!
TOTALLY DIFFERENT TOPIC:

They say GA is in a really bad drought....I say the Army Corp of Eng. made a mistake and let too much water out of Lake Lanier (just my opinion, I am sure there is more to the fact that we are 17 in. short in rain fall this year but the lake is several feet low). Here in Eatonton, GA we are flooded! It was 55 degrees out and the boys are stomping in the water up to their knees. Needless to say there was a warm bath and hot cocoa when they got in from their tromp in the mud.

Stuckey Christmas '07

Christmas this year was busy. We had 13 people total in a 3 bedroom ranch + a camper (for sleeping). There were 6 kids ripping through packages like mad. Paper flying everywhere. We started the day with a quiet reading. The kids sat together on the couch. The boys had a very Star Wars Christmas!! They are enjoying movie nights a lot. I still don't think we have made it through all episodes. Mommy got a lot of grief for getting a baby a kitchen but she LOVES it...as I said for her birthday blog...ALL GIRL ALL THE TIME!!

We enjoy this Christmas a lot. It was great to have the whole fam together.

The beach in December

We went to Mexico Beach, FL the beginning of December. We had a large crowd of family and friends. However, our large crowd had the WHOLE beach as far as the eye could see.

Jason buried all the boys. Savannah had fun picking on them when they couldn't get her back!

My step-sister, her husband and daughter came down from Alabama. Also, long time family friends, Craig and Nancy were there. It was a great time to see each other.

The boys loved playing in the water. I think that my big toe almost fell off trying it out...oooo, cold!

WE LOVE THE BEACH!!

Purple Belt

Caleb tested in the beginning of November. He did well. However, it was hard breaking the boards. That took a few tries. When we got home he wrote in his journal "I learned to never give up and all ways do your best."

Karate is a great learning experience!

Jared started when he turned 5...he should test soon.

Family Fun Night (Oct. 31, 2007)

On Halloween, we don’t do the norm. We have “Family Fun Night.” This time, we had a fire by the creek.

Smores for dinner cheeseburgers for dessert. Kids get to choose what they want the whole evening. It is usually a blast, this night was not any different.

After dinner, we all played a great game of flashlight tag. A great time was had by all. I think Caleb could have played forever, Mom and Dad, however, were exhausted. Chase is having a great time trying to catch me while I try to get a few pictures.

Jared turns 5 (Oct. 3, 2007)

We took Jared to Fernbank Museum for his birthday. They loved the frog exhibit.

Another favorite is seeing the dino's

Smile! Jared, you are 5!

He also had a fun birthday with friends...being a bad, bad mommy...I forgot my camera. I am hoping one of my sisters has the pictures on their camera but I have not gotten them. Will post, if I find them.

Udderly Hysterical Conversations

(Oct. 23, 2007)Today at lunch, Caleb asked “Are hot dog made from dogs?” I explained that you can buy pork dog or beef dogs. We usually get beef, so that would be cow. Caleb’s next question was “what part of the cow?” Jared answered quickly “it is the part the milk comes out!” I can’t stop laughing!

Caleb's Toy Comments

(Oct. 10, 2007)Today, the boys were talking about their Star Wars toys. Some of them have a name on the foot and some have “made in China.” Caleb said “Made in China. That means don’t put it in your mouth.” I had no idea he knew the issues with lead in the toys from China. I cracked up. However, we better be watching Savannah, toys are made for that mouth.

We are starting this blog because so many of our family is moving across the world. Really, some to Panama and some to China. It will be a good way to keep everyone up to date. It is going to be full of small funnies from our days or milestone moments. Hope you all enjoy the options to keep up to date with the current events of the lives of the Stuckey 6 from across the globe!

I know that many of you have seen this before but I didn't like the site I chose last time...So here I go with a 'Google' version of blogging. I hope it is easier. You have to know that if it is not easy...I just don't have time. So, lets try this version..so far so good. I love Google anyway. I need to get some stock, probably too late.
